About Us
Founded in 1976 the Greater Dayton LGBT Center's goal is to offer comprehensive, community-based services to the gender and sexual minorities of the Dayton and Miami Valley area. We provide the community with a safe space to hold meetings and events and provide resources that encourage advocacy, education and entertainment.

Community
The Center works hard to foster a sense of community for all LGBTQ+ individuals in the Greater Dayton area. With events like community dinners, PRIDE, and movie nights, the Center is focused on providing a sense of belonging for all members. If you or your group are looking for a space to gather please don’t hesitate to contact us! The Greater Dayton LGBT Center is always looking for new ways to support the community.
Culture
Making LGBT voices heard is important to us. We partner with the LGBT Film Festival to help promote films that feature members of LGBT Community across the world. We also support the Her/History Project to tell the stories of our local LGBTQIA+ members. In an effort to promote local artists, we host art galleries throughout the year, providing a platform for members to showcase their work.
Advocacy
We work with local leadership, schools, and human rights advocacy groups to ensure the LGBTQIA+ community is seen and heard. We provide diversity training to local business and governments help eliminate discrimination and hate. We work with our community to promote and raise awareness of legislation that can impact our community, ensuring our laws promote equality and fairness.
How You Can Help Our Community.
