From Sinclair Community College: The Love Wins initiative that has been making waves across the Sinclair Community College campus will have their own official day on April 7, 2015 (6-9 p.m.) devoted to their mission supporting the LGBT community on campus.

From ARC: AIDS Resource Center Ohio is thrilled to announce our inaugural AIDS Walk Greater Dayton! We invite you to help us raise critical funds to provide education, spread awareness, and help those in our community affected by HIV/AIDSThis also marks the inaugural year we will be conducting the first-ever statewide walk, with simultaneous events in Dayton, Columbus and Toledo, AND we have launched a user-friendly website. In Dayton there are multiple ways to participate— 1 mile stroll, 5k walk/run, or a 10k bike ride.
Community participants like you will make the AIDS Walk Greater Dayton a success and we want to be sure you have the important information for this inaugural event.
1. Save the Date: Sunday, April 19, 2015.
2. Course: Kick-off and finish line celebration will be held at the University of Dayton’s River Campus located at 1700 S. Patterson Blvd.
3. Become a Team Captain: Take the extra step and become a team captain. It’s easy and fun. Build a team. Set a fundraising goal. Host a special event to raise money. Encourage and challenge your friends and colleagues leading up to the walk. Win fabulous prizes!

From GLSEN Greater Dayton: Join their “Break the Silence” event on April 17th to end the Day of Silence. There will be food, refreshments, activities, some dancing, and a lot of AWESOME people.

GLSENs Day of Silence is a national day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools.

From Equality Ohio: There are over a 1000 rights that gay couples are denied since they can not legally get married. This program will focus on the legal and financial issues that gay couples should be aware of if they plan to marry. Since this is taking place so closely to the Supreme Court’s hearing – there will be additional attention on how the arguments went. Jim Obergefell will be there (his case is the one Ohio is presenting.) There will be refreshments served and there is no cost to attend.
